It's me

Your pal, Dale mcphail

Dale McPhail is a Glasgow-based indie punk songwriter whose music blends honesty, melody, and silliness.

Drawing from working-class life, his songs explore the ups and downs of creativity, connection, and everyday reality. Known for his engaging live shows and down-to-earth storytelling, Dale brings warmth and energy to every performance.

After touring the USA and playing loads of gigs closer to home, he continues to build his sound around heartfelt lyrics, catchy hooks, and self-discovery. He is a firm believer that music and community are the keys to creating a nicer society. He is a member of Scottish Artists Stand With Palestine.

He's also the lead singer of Glasgow garage indie-punk newcomers Grow Up, who are already making their mark, having built a buzz for their high-energy shows and songs that blend garage-punk grit with cheeky indie sleaze. They're riding high after selling out their debut show at McChuill’s, Glasgow, alongside Edinburgh gutter-pop outfit Night Caller. Check them out.
